Twelve different versions of the commercial were produced, all adverstising MuchMusic ( A Canadian Music & Video Tv Channel ), and the first aired on January 2002. The creator, producer and editor was Tharanga Ramanayake.

I still wouldn't call it subliminal (because you do notice SOMETHING), but that's me. I think it does fit the technical definition, though, which makes me wonder how they got on the air.

Say you were watching a sports event like the Olympics, You wouldn't be concentrated for looking for ads that are submitted in 1/60th of a second. You'll most likely be looking directly in the middle of the screen so when it appears you'll see colors, but not a image. You wouldn't recognize it so you'll probably think it's just something that happened with your TV.

How? You can perfectly make out everything in the ads. For them to subliminal, they would have to be below the ability of us to detect, or, in other words, we wouldn't notice them.
